TL;DR: Open Settings → Jake → Actions. Describe what Jake should do. Build with your AI teammate. Add the credential in the dashboard.
Actions let Jake do things, not just answer. Order lookups, refunds, status checks.
Add an action
- Choose Add action
- Describe the outcome:
Look up an order by email - Choose Build with AI — your teammate defines the endpoint, auth, risk, and approval behavior
- Add the credential in the dashboard (never in the teammate conversation)
Connect Stripe
Choose Connect Stripe with a restricted API key. Enable only the actions Jake should use. Refunds require approval by default.
Before it's live
Publishing an action definition doesn't activate it. It still needs:
- A credential configured in the dashboard
- Runtime enablement
- Successful tests of success, failure, refusal, and approval paths
