Jake settings
Shape how Jake answers, what it knows, what it can do, and when it asks for help
Jake settings
TL;DR: Open Settings → Jake. Behavior = how Jake answers. Sources = facts it cites. Actions = things it can do. Activity = what's live now.
Behavior
How Jake answers, decides, and escalates. Choose Edit to change it.
Advanced settings has: safety rules, handoff routes, test scenarios, and raw config files.
Sources
Facts Jake can cite — product docs, policies, procedures. Not instructions.
Put facts here. Put voice and judgment rules in Behavior.
Actions
Tools Jake can call — order lookups, refunds, status checks. Each needs a credential, approval policy, and tests before it's live.
Stripe is built-in: customer, payment, subscription, and refund actions. Refunds always require approval.
Activity
Which version is live. What changed. What needs review.
AI teammate
Connect Codex or Claude Code to improve Jake conversationally. Never paste credentials into the teammate conversation.
What "live" means
Setup publishes an answer-only baseline. Customer-changing actions stay off until separately configured, credentialed, and tested.
