Model providers

TL;DR: Jake works immediately with managed inference. To use your own model, open Settings → Connections → Models and connect a provider.

Supported providers

• Managed inference — works out of the box, no key needed
• OpenAI — API key
• Anthropic — API key
• Amazon Bedrock — guided role setup, then role ARN + region

Connecting a provider doesn't change what's live

After connecting, you still need to: select the model in Behavior, test in Playground, and publish.

A model change can alter instruction following, tool selection, latency, and cost. Always test before and after.
